Qualifications and Experience Requirements (for the qualified position)

Minimum, Diploma of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) in  Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.
Accreditation with the ANZSNM
Licensed with the EPA.

Position, Availability and Location.

This position is for an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist, commencing in December/January 2002/2003.

The candidate would be based at Shoalhaven NI in Nowra and will work with one other Senior Technologist. The successful candidate will be expected to work at Wollongong when required.  

Nowra is the gateway to the beautiful South Coast and is just two hours drive South from Sydney. It is situated on the Shoalhaven River (a popular Skiing, Wakeboarding, Boating and Kayaking area). It is just 20minutes drive from Jervis Bay with its crystal clear water, and white sand (the whitest in the world at Hyams Beach). It is a diver's and swimmer's paradise. Famous surf breaks are also just a short drive away.

Essential:

A degree or Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Accreditation (or eligibility) with the ANZSNM.

EPA Licence.

Desirable:

Postgraduate experience in a private practice would be desirable but certainly not compulsory. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic person who can work independently. They will also need to have well developed scheduling and organisational skills. They should enjoy the challenge of teaching and supervising students. 

Salary Package:
